As the Outbound Business Development Representative, you must become a product expert and serve as the “voice” of the company by creating a great first impression and proving a world-class experience to new prospects. You will enjoy this role if you are slightly competitive with a strong desire and ability to hit targets and exceed expectations.

What you will do

  • Talk to a wide variety of new business contacts - including Owners, Property Managers, and Managers
  • Cold call and prospect for leads to companies that could benefit from the new offer
  • Maintain email and phone conversations with warm prospects to determine the driving factor in the purchase or sign-up decision
  • Become a product / offer expert and learn strategies to communicate product / offer value
  • Continually increase product knowledge by working closely with the Operations Supervisor
  • Clearly communicate business decision drivers, costs, and benefits to showcase the product / offer as a strategic advantage
  • Outbound calling to customers in the UK
  • What you bring

  • Superior customer service, cold calling, and data entry skills
  • Strong over-the-phone communication and online presentation skills
  • Advocate for customers and prospects by building rapport to identify their key needs and determine possible solution-sets
  • Desire to think creatively and use problem-solving skills to assure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced experience navigating multiple windows to provide accurate information to end users (multiple screens recommended but not required)
  • Flexible attitude and demonstrated ability to hit targets and exceed expectations
  • What You will need

  • One to three years of B2B experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer-centric role
  • Personal Windows 10 Operating System required with webcam and USB headset (equipment not provided)
  • Must pass all assessments and systems check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate through verbal and written English.
  • Proven proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRMs, and other online resources for information
  • Valid Portugal work permit
  • Preferred (Not Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com CRM and SalesLoft is preferred
  • Hours of Operation : 8 am-5 pm UK local time
