Context :

IKOS is constantly seeking Telecom Engineers keen to take part in our missions throughout their country (Portugal) or abroad (all EU, depending on languages skills). If you are a specialist or a generalist, expert or junior Telecom engineer - we are looking for various types of skilled new team members.

Responsibilities :

Design, deploy, and optimize rail telecommunications networks , including voice, data, and video communication systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom solutions
Conduct network assessments , performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
Participate in testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities

We'd love you to apply if :

Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering , Computer Science, or related field (mandatory)

Proven experience in designing and managing rail telecom networks

Familiarity with GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications - Railways) and other rail-specific communication protocols

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Portuguese and English speaking is mandatory.
