Manager - Distribution Development / Air Compressors

Our team is driven by innovation, customer success, and sustainability. As we expand, we are looking for a strategic and motivated Distribution Development Manager in Air Compressors to grow and manage relationships with our most valuable customers and partners in Portugal

Position Summary :

As Distribution Development, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with Channel Partners and customers. You will act as a strategic partner, promoting ELGi products and understanding distributors' needs to deliver tailored compressed air solutions that drive value and performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Hire & manage a distribution network (in Portugal).
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new customers.
  • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals and perform Air Audits.
  • Collaborate with Distribution network and service teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Ensure company profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Technician, Graduated in Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B industrial equipment sales experience, preferably in air compressors.
  • Proven track record in distribution development(indirect selling)
  • Good technical understanding of compressed air systems and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid work permit, driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Portugal and Spain, accessory).
  • As fluent in Portuguese as native. Good knowledge of English & Spanish is a plus.
