Our Portugal office is expanding, and we’re looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team – building cutting-edge SaaS platforms for enterprise clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize SQL and T-SQL queries for efficient data access and transformation within SQL Server environment
  • Build and manage data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage from multiple sources
  • Focus on data integration, staging, and data warehouse development
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion and processing workflows, ensuring data reliability and integrity across the Fabric or former SSIS environments
  • Document technical architecture, data lineage, and solution design for knowledge sharing and compliance
  • Understand and apply best practices related to cloud infrastructure, especially in Azure and Microsoft Fabric ecosystem

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficient in SQL and T-SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and semantic layer design
  • Experience with C# for custom tool development is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on service orientation
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Data Engineering, ideally in a cloud-based environment, is a plus (Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is a strong plus)
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and comfortable working in both team settings and autonomously
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication in a multinational environment
