Smart Energy LAB is a Collaborative Laboratory (CoLAB) held by EDP Comercial, Accenture, Instituto Superior Técnico, Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon, University of Coimbra, INESCTEC and INESC ID.

In order to create the future, we are looking for a PMO

As a PMO you will perform tasks such as :

  • Coordinate and follow up with the project leaders the evolution of each project namely on deadlines, tasks and deliverables.
  • Support portfolio management activities by prioritizing projects, balancing resource capacity, and ensuring alignment with technical priorities and business needs.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communications
  • Coordinate periodic reports namely 1) HR costs, CAPEX and OPEX expenses that are allocated to each project and 2) technical reports and deliverables
  • Manage the proposed projects budget and timeline and propose corrective measures if applicable
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Promote synergies between projects, namely on suppliers, partners, cost optimization, etc.
  • Monitor key project metrics and KPIs, proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Specific Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Engineering or Management or the equivalent in experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in coordinating Projects, Project Management
  • Experience in Competitive Funding Management (e.g. Portugal 2020, PRR funds) is a plus
  • Fluent English
  • Portuguese tax number required
  • Location : Lisbon, Portugal

    Position specifics :

  • Employees need to have Portuguese tax residency, be located in the Lisbon area.
  • Position sponsored by Portuguese R&D Funding Project : 12 months contract, with possibility to renew to permanent contract after the first contracting period.
