Untile is a digital product design and development company. We believe it’s possible to create world-class solutions from this beautiful corner of our country, Viana do Castelo.

As a software developer, you will work on a small team, switching between projects as our business evolves. We need our developers to be versatile and passionate about technology.

YOUR JOB :

  • Solid experience in web development. Webflow is mandatory;
  • Experience in other web tools with tools such as WordPress and Shopify;
  • Knowledge of react;
  • Implementation of SEO best practices;
  • Do, analyse and validate technical estimates;
  • Knowledge of non-code and low-code tools;
  • Experience in integration with APIs and automations (especially Make.com and Zapier);
  • Take good decisions, balanced between the technical perspective and the business goals;
  • Collaborating in a smart environment where new ideas are always welcome;
  • Brainstorming initial ideas and carrying them through to concept development;
  • Discussing ideas with both team and / or clients to create the best possible solutions;
  • Working within a well-opinionated technology stack, with developer tools and methodologies that our team is constantly trying to improve;
  • Helping in the creation of in-house patterns;
  • Working in a variety of different business areas;

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE :

  • Experience in agencies world;
  • At least 4 years of experience with web development;
  • Ability to conduct workshops;
  • Skills in data migration, transformation and output in different formats;
  • The ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes;
  • Empathy and active listening, to manage a team of devs and designers;
  • Ability to motivate, give constructive feedback and support the individual and collective growth of the team;
  • Ability to manage conflicts with diplomacy, keeping the focus on company goals;
  • A mindset focused on continuous process improvement, with a drive to identify and resolve inefficiencies;
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams, clearly and accessibly explaining concepts;
  • Collaborative and transparent approach to sharing ideas, decisions, and priorities;
  • Self-taught and eager to continuously learn and experiment with new solutions;
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources, balancing quality deliverables with deadlines;
  • Capacity to identify dependencies between teams, technologies, and timelines;
  • Attention to detail in tracking and following up on processes;
  • Comfort in being outside your comfort zone;
  • Craftsmanship to create clean, maintainable code;
  • Comfort with version control systems (we use Git);

  • The salary range from this role is between €25,000.00 to €32,500.00 annual gross, which includes meal, extra benefits, vacation and Xmas allowances.
