Purpose of the Role

The Sales Manager Offline Sales is a key leadership role responsible for managing and growing the offline sales team across the team.blue Portugal brands (PTisp, Dominios.pt, Amen.pt). The role focuses on driving new business acquisition, customer retention, and revenue expansion through a technically capable sales team.

The manager oversees a team of hunters (focused on new opportunities) and farmers (focused on account growth), selling advanced infrastructure and digital solutions, including IaaS (dedicated servers, VPS, cloud) , SaaS , Web Design , and Online Brand Protection (OBP) services.

This role requires strong technical sales knowledge , including experience in sales engineering or pre-sales , to effectively position and tailor complex solutions for customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Sales Operations

  • Lead, manage, and coach a team of offline sales professionals (hunters & farmers)
  • Define and monitor KPIs, conversion rates, and sales targets
  • Provide continuous training on technical product knowledge and consultative selling
  • Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on new business, retention, and customer growth

Sales Strategy & Technical Support

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for :
  • Dedicated Servers, VPS, Cloud Hosting
  • Web Design Services and SaaS Solutions
  • Online Brand Protection (OBP) (trademark monitoring, domain defense, anti-counterfeit, etc.)
  • Support the team during pre-sales processes : solution scoping, needs analysis, technical qualification, and offer presentation
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with customer requirements
  • Customer Engagement & Field Activity

  • Oversee daily lead follow-up, outbound prospecting, and opportunity development
  • Organize and attend on-site client meetings, sales events, trade shows, and industry meetups
  • Ensure the team actively nurtures customer relationships and increases revenue through upselling and cross-selling
  • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with :
  • Marketing Director to align campaigns, events, and lead generation
  • Cuscare team to enhance customer satisfaction and onboarding
  • SysAdmin / Technical teams to ensure smooth solution delivery and support
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reporting, and insights to the Commercial Director
  • Key Interfaces

  • Internal : Commercial Director, Marketing Director, SysAdmin Team, Cuscare, Finance, HR
  • External : B2B Clients, Resellers, Event Organizers, Strategic Partners
  • Requirements

    Experience :

  • 5+ years of B2B Sales Management experience, ideally in IT, hosting, cloud, or cybersecurity
  • Proven experience managing a hybrid sales team (new business & account management)
  • Background in technical sales or as a sales engineer / pre-sales consultant is essential
  • Technical Skills :

  • Deep understanding of :
  • Hosting and infrastructure environments (Linux / Windows servers, virtualization, cloud platforms)
  • VPS, dedicated servers, and cloud hosting models
  • Online Brand Protection services and tools (e.g., domain monitoring, takedown services)
  • SaaS and website solutions
  • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching abilities
  • Strong business acumen with a customer-first mindset
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and events (nationally)
