The Office for Information Processing is the City of Cologne's innovative IT service provider. It combines forward-looking forms of work, an attractive office building, an interesting and diverse working environment and family friendliness in a modern atmosphere.

The specialist applications department is responsible for numerous specialist applications that are critical to administration. These include central citizen service applications such as MESO (residents' registration and information services), AutiSta (registry office), migewa (commercial matters) and OK.VERKEHR (registration software).

The vacant position is currently responsible for the specialist application with a focus on KDN social.

YOUR FUTURE TASKS : You ...

are responsible for the specialist application support for the assigned specialist application.
are the project manager or technical sub-project manager for current and future projects in the specialist area, including process-compliant documentation.
support technical support during ongoing operations, are the first point of contact for specialist advisors at the departments and the manufacturing companies (ongoing application support, ensuring up-to-date patch and release statuses).
manage the conceptual technical development of the procedures together with procedure manufacturers and the internal and external departments involved
prepare concepts and technical solution models, comparing them with the applicable operating standards; if required, prepare implementation planning

YOUR PROFILE : You ...

have successfully completed a (specialist) university degree in a subject area relevant to the task (e.g. computer science or business informatics)

proven equivalent skills and experience in the IT field.

have several years of professional experience in the IT environment.

have digital expertise and good knowledge of infrastructures / architectures, networks, data protection, IT security, IT law and accessibility.

have the know-how for project management experience for the implementation and control of complex IT projects and have experience in the creation of IT concepts.

have a good understanding of IT technology and the ability to think in an abstract and process-oriented way

are willing to learn and perform, have a high degree of initiative and innovative solution orientation.

establish networks and maintain contacts.

have a confident and eloquent manner in negotiations and a high level of social skills.

have a high level of resilience and are willing to work outside normal working hours if necessary.

have gender competence and a commitment to diversity.

have basic knowledge of ITIL.

WE OFFER YOU :

A future-oriented job in Cologne with a modern employer with all the advantages of the public sector and a regulated weekly working time of 19.5 hours for employees covered by collective agreements or 20.5 hours for civil servants with a high degree of flexibility within the scope of office-specific possibilities. The position is permanent.

The position is graded according to salary group A11 career group 2, 1st entry level LBesG NRW (Salary Act for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, formerly higher service) or according to pay group 11 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD IKT).

The salary range for a half-time position in pay group 11 (TVöD-IKT) is currently between 2,016.19 euros (experience level 1) and 2,987.60 euros (experience level 6).

Your professional experience will be taken into account when assigning you to the experience level within the pay group, insofar as this is possible under collective bargaining law.
