Asenium is looking for a skilled Java Developer to join a new project based in Lisbon. We are seeking candidates with solid experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.

Location : Lisbon (hybrid work mode)

Start Date : ASAP

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java (Spring Boot)
Integrate applications with databases and third-party services (RESTful APIs)
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business teams
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning
Contribute to technical documentation and best practices

Required Skills :

Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development

Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs

Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)

Familiarity with CI / CD tools and version control systems (Git)

Fluent in English (written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus
