As a Develepment Center, at  Bontaz Portugal , we are pioneers in engineering and technology, continuously pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the automotive sector.

The Process Engineer (M / F / D) reports to the Industrialization Manager. Uses 3D CAD software to design and draw mechatronic functions or equipment related to the development of a Bontaz product and / or its industrialization, from the feasibility study phase to the production of the file of detailed plans. They are responsible for the development entrusted to them, to internal and external stakeholders, in compliance with given technical, security, quality, cost and deadline criteria.

The  Process Engineer (M / F / D)  works under the responsibility of the Manager of the department they are attached to and acts in a functional capacity with project stakeholders and in particular with the Industrialization Project Engineer. They operate within a specified scope.

The  Process Engineer (M / F / D) : works mainly on level 2 and 3 projects, the levels being determined according to the currently-validated filtering method (cross-matrix of mechatronic function type, mechatronic function maturity, technical complexity, level of feasibility, strategic nature of the project). The scope of the field of knowledge and skills as well as the level of mastery required are mostly of an "application" and "expert" nature.

Profile

• Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrialization Engineering or similar;
• At least 3 years' experience in similar positions;
• Fluent in English (recommended);
• CREO proficiency (recommended);
• Organized and team player.
