Descrição da vagaProficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises solutions for Linux and Windows. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals : TCP / IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and switching. Experience with virtualization and containers : VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Docker. Skilled in automation and scripting : PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions : Datto, on-premises and cloud backup solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including experience with security tools and threat mitigation strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and training team members. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Experience in agile processes and an understanding of DevOps practices. Willingness to participate in an on-call rota or shift work and travel to different office locations or client sites if required. Background in software development. We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and efficient application architectures, considering available development tools, systems, procedures, and data security.
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s platform architecture to facilitate rapid and reliable delivery of quality software.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability. Provide ongoing maintenance, support, troubleshooting, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Stay up to date with and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve IT processes, tools, and platforms.
- Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management, recommending improvements to enhance these aspects.
