As we expand, we are looking for a strategic and motivated Distribution Development Manager in Air Compressors to grow and manage relationships with our most valuable customers and partners in Portugal
Position Summary :
As Distribution Development, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with Channel Partners and customers. You will act as a strategic partner, promoting ELGi products and understanding distributors' needs to deliver tailored compressed air solutions that drive value and performance.
Responsibilities :
- Hire & manage a distribution network (in Portugal).
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new customers.
- Develop and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals and perform Air Audits.
- Collaborate with Distribution network and service teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Ensure company profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements :
Qualified Technician, Graduated in Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5 years of B2B industrial equipment sales experience, preferably in air compressors.Proven track record in distribution development(indirect selling)Good technical understanding of compressed air systems and applications.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Valid work permit, driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Portugal and Spain, accessory).As fluent in Portuguese as native. Good knowledge of English & Spanish is a plus.What We Offer :
