We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to oversee HR operations on a global scale for a major international hospitality company.The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives across multiple international locations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and values. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. Your main responsibilities will include :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives and foster a positive work culture across global locations.
- Oversee recruitment, talent acquisition, and retention efforts to attract and retain top talent within the hospitality sector.
- Provide guidance and support to HR teams in different regions, ensuring consistency and compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities within the organization.
- Lead employee development and training programs to enhance skills and capabilities across all levels of the organization.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 of progressive HR experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HR operations across multiple locations in hotels and resorts in Caribbean, Europe, etc.
- Strong understanding of global HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of implementing successful HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Languages : fluent in : Spanish / English verbally as they will be handling resorts and hotels in the Caribbean and Europe.
