Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in a residential setting
- Promote independence, dignity, and community integration in daily life
- Assist with personal care, medication administration, and mobility support
- Contribute to the maintenance of individual care plans and documentation
- Participate in household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and safeguarding procedures
- Liaise professionally with families, team members, and external stakeholders
- Work flexibly according to the 24 / 7 service model, including night shifts and weekends
Candidate Profile
Must hold an EU passportMust possess a valid EU manual driving licenceOver 18 years of ageMinimum qualification : QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) in healthcare or social carePrior experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilitiesExcellent command of spoken and written EnglishKnowledge of HIQA standards is an advantageCompensation and Benefits
