Job Description

We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our team in Portugal and ensure the quality of our SaaS product. As a key member of our Develpopment team, you will bring your expertise in testing to improve processes, tools, and methodologies.

This is what you'll be doing

  • Design and implement functional, regression, and performance tests for our software products.
  • Collaborate with teams to prioritize requirements and resolve any testing issues.
  • Document and communicate defects found during testing, and work with the team to resolve them.
  • Define test strategies and coordinate with different teams.
  • Review current tooling and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support product teams in achieving high-quality results through exploratory and functional testing.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and practices.

This is who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer / Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in JAVA / React or similar technology.
  • Microservices experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and tech-savvy.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Knowledge of load testing tools and practices.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
