We’re looking for an Equipment Engineer to join a specialist in legacy tool refurbishment and support — ideally based in Portugal (Porto).
This is a key hire to support a growing service contract portfolio, including a major customer site in Porto. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team with access to global technical support and career growth into technical leadership or management.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Maintenance & Repair – Deliver corrective and preventative maintenance on Semitool Raider systems, and related equipment.
- Installations & De-installs – Lead tool moves and ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Technical Troubleshooting – Analyse faults and liaise with senior engineers for second-line support.
- Training & Documentation – Share knowledge with customers and contribute to internal best practices.
- Wider Support – Occasionally travel to other European customer sites to provide expert-level assistance.
What You Bring :
Experience with Semitool Raider or comparable wet processing tools.Solid grounding in electroplating, etch, or chemistry-based equipment.Hands-on background in equipment engineering or tool maintenance (not process-only).Fluent English communication and a valid driver’s licence.Comfortable with European travel (~25%) and willing to train abroad in Asia (4-8 weeks).Why This Role?
