Funções a Desempenhar

Our Finance & Administration Business Line is looking for a Senior Accountant, who will have the following responsibilities :

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

Control the Inter-companies flows and perform the necessary validation on a monthly basis.

Liaise with the other departments, to ensure a smoothly incorporation of the process and business.

Support other teams in the correct accounting and tax framework of operations.

Support for account analysis “Goods receipt / Invoices receipt”.

Issuance of customer invoices and monitorization of customer accounts.

Maintaining of fixed asset data.

Support external audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Prepare and fil tax returns VAT, CIT, WHT and other returns in compliance with Portuguese tax laws.

Prepare and fill statistical reports – INE, Intrastat.

Requisitos Necessários

The ideal candidate will have / be :

Degree in Accounting, Economics, or finance co-related.

Portuguese Certified Accountant.

At least 5 years of experience in Accounting.

Accounting knowledge (preferably in International Accounting Standards – IFRS).

Good level of Portuguese Tax knowledge.

Proficient in MS Office, with MS Excel and MS Word domain.

English proficiency (mandatory).

Ability to lead with different volumes of work.

Good communication skills.

Resilience ability and proactivity.

Good teamwork skills.

Requisitos Opcionais

International experience will be a plus.
