About the Role
DataHow is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Marketing & Events Coordinator to support our growing marketing and sales team. This role is being recruited for in Portugal, and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and excited to play a hands-on role in maintaining our CRM systems, supporting sales with high-value research, driving community engagement, and coordinating impactful events, and maintaining our CRM systems.
You’ll work closely with our CCO and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of both in-person and virtual activities, as well as manage and optimize our CRM (HubSpot) to support lead generation and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Marketing Operations (HubSpot) :
- Maintain and update contact records, deal records, company profiles, and properties within HubSpot
- Ensure data cleanliness and segmentation for accurate reporting and targeting
- Assist in setting up marketing workflows, forms, and landing pages
- Build and maintain marketing automation and lead-nurturing processes
- Add and maintain contacts and leads from events and conferences within Hubspot
- Set-up and manage critical Hubspot reports for Sales & Marketing
Event Management & Coordination :
Lead the logistical planning and coordination of virtual and in-person events, including :Internal User Webinars and training sessionsExternal WebinarsUser community daysIndustry conferences and trade showsThe annual DataHow SymposiumCoordinate with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholdersManage event registration, communication flows, and post-event follow-upSupport content creation and promotion for events across email, social media, and the website (supported by the content manager)Handle shipping and preparation of event materials, merchandise, and booth setup where neededSales Enablement
Research target companies and key personas to support sales and marketing intelligencePerform lead enrichment for key sales targets to support sales engagementYour Profile
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field1–2 years of experience (including internships) in marketing, events, or CRM administrationMust have experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM platformExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skills in EnglishA proactive attitude with attention to detail and a team-oriented mindsetPositive, high-energy profile that is confident to engage with our growing communityInterest in the biotech, pharma, or life sciences space is a plusWhat We Offer
