Senior Systems Administrator

Open Cascade (https : / / www.opencascade.com / ), part of Capgemini Engineering since 2014, is an open-source software platform for 3D geometric modeling and processing. It provides tools for creating, modifying, and visualizing 3D models, along with capabilities for mesh handling and boolean operations. Open Cascade is focused on the digital transformation of industries through the use of the latest technologies and services.

Qualifications

Technical skills Required :

5+ years of professional Linux, Windows administration experience.

Core infrastructure services : DNS, DHCP, NTP, Active directory, Ldap, AzureAD, O365, Exim, etc.

Knowledge of the network stack.

Knowledge of scripting languages : Bash, Shell, PowerShell.

Experience in administration of file systems and relative services : ZFS, XFS, EXT4, Ceph, NTFS, NFS, Samba, LVM, MD, etc.

Experience in administration of highly loaded, highly available informational systems.

Understanding and practical experience in ensuring services’ reliability and informational security.

Experience of planning and administrating of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana / Prometheus, etc.).

Virtualization experience : KVM / Proxmox, MS Hyper-V, etc.

Experience with containers / container orchestration systems (k8s, docker compose, etc.).

Web servers’ administration experience : Nginx.

Experience in RDBMS administration, incl. HA solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).

Experience and knowledge of data backup and restoring, including databases, services, etc.
