DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas :

DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;
DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;
DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

Our practice results in the creation of value for our customers, either by delivering qualified and value-added services, or through highly qualified and motivated professionals, as well as technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers.

We are looking for an Java & Angular Software Developer!

Responsibilities :

Development and support of Angular web applications with java spring boot micro-services backend.

Adoption and promotion of agile and lean principles and practices to ensure that the team serves exclusively to progress the business.

Promotion of DevOps practices to underpin the continuous delivery of value, and the drive for continuous improvement.

Accountable for software development adherence to internal and external policies to ensure compliance to organisational and regulatory standards.

Requirements :

Strong Angular development skills and User Experience design

Solid understanding of Java (17) and Java Spring Boot (3.5.3) and OO principles

Experience designing and building service oriented or micro service architectures

Diligent with automated testing i.e. JUnit / Mockito / Cucumber, etc

Solid experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools : e.g. GitHub

Agile development / Software life cycle

Understanding of RESTful API principles

Containerization – Docker or Kubernetes, OpenShift . PLUS

SQL – Oracle, MS SQL Server. PLUS

Kafka. PLUS

Elasticsearch. PLUS

NoSQL database experience e.g. MongoDB. PLUS

Problem Solving and critical thinking.

Good communication skills.

Team work and collaboration.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges.

Good level of english.
