Business Unit Lead Electrophysiology & Neurology Portugal
Join our team as the Business Unit Lead EP & Neuro for Johnson & Johnson in Portugal In this pivotal role, you will oversee the sales, marketing, and P&L for our Electrophysiology (Biosense Webster) and Neurology (Cerenovus) franchises. As a key leader, you will manage the entire team and play a crucial role in driving our strategic vision forward.
This position reports directly to the Country Managing Director and is an integral member of the Portugal MedTech board. You will collaborate closely with related functions and other franchises within our organization to ensure success across the business.

Objectives of the position
- Responsible for delivering on P&L (sales, operating expenses, net income) targets
- Execute business plans and sales targets, KPIs and metrics for which you measure performance against
- Collaborate with local Finance to develop business plan and sales targets
- Formulation, implementation and execution of local Franchise Strategic Objectives
- Align with Mid-Sized Markets and Franchise Strategic Priorities in driving local execution of company vision, objectives & strategy
- Develop and implement local go-to-market models
- In Electrophysiology, lead the direct clinical, sales and marketing team toward path to success
Implement Value Based Healthcare strategy within the organization :
reinforce the value proposition and drive standardization
implementation of value offerings with all important accounts, co-create value projects with customersshape the market mindset to measure value as success and not only pricedrive and shape the leading, digitally enabled Value Based Healthcare transformation
Manage customer engagement strategies along with governmental and external agencies to shape healthcare policy
Collaborate with internal departments and relevant parties to assess new technology, licensing, partnership & acquisition targets, evidence generation needs and new product specificationsResponsible for implementing a commission structure aligned with the Medical Device policyCulture & Leadership

BA / BS required; MA, MSc, MBA preferredA minimum of 6 years of progressive leadership experience with ability to inspire and mobilize a large organization through periods of continuous change, complex business environments and transformationAt least 10 years related business experience. Healthcare experience is essential & medical device sales experience is preferredDiverse experience in different business units - geographies or functionsExperience leading multiple business challenges : new businesses, turnaround business, realignment, sustain the success modelsStrong financial acumen-direct and monitor financial and budget activities to achieve goalsStrong customer / external orientation and marketplace focus with experience working directly with governmental and other external agencies to influence healthcare policy and develop value-generating solutions (Value Based Healthcare)Strong business acumen as well as a strategic mindset as evidenced by a track record of leading organizations to achieve results in challenging, complex business environments (not just growing markets)Strong enterprise mindset, with ability to influence and collaborate in matrix environment to achieve business objectivesFluent in Portuguese and EnglishWhat You Will Need To Succeed
