What you’ll do

• Lead and manage a small team of engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, coaching, and career development.
• Collaborate with the head of product to translate user needs into technical solutions and deliver impactful features.
• While contributing code, take ultimate technical ownership for the team's deliverables, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
• Drive engineering best practices including code quality, testing, deployment processes, system architecture and technical decisions.
• Foster a product-focused engineering culture centered on user value, technical excellence, and collaborative ownership for product success.
• Advocate for developer experience and productivity by integrating AI-powered tools into development workflows.

What you’ll bring

• Strong technical background with SaaS delivery experience (ideally on a startup or scale-up environment).
• Experience building scalable and resilient systems across modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers, with demonstrated team leadership experience.
• Comfortable being hands-on while guiding others.
• You get AI. You’re already using it daily to move faster and build better, whether you're designing a system, writing code, or shipping features.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
