Director of Engineering – Hybrid
We are partnering with a fast growing company to hire a Director of Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams.
The RoleYou'll lead and inspire several high-performing engineering teams, setting the technical direction and culture across the organisation. You'll be responsible for ensuring systems deliver outstanding reliability and performance, while coaching and growing leaders beneath you. Working closely with Product and Business stakeholders, you'll translate strategy into scalable, high-impact technology outcomes.
What we're looking for:Strong engineering background - ideally hands-on before moving into leadership7+ years leading multiple software engineering teams or departmentsExperience in high-frequency, transaction-heavy environmentsDeep understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and scalabilityProven ability to build high-performing, motivated teams with strong culture and engagementStrategic mindset - able to balance long-term vision with pragmatic executionExperience in banking, acquiring, or payments is a major plus
Salary:
€120,000 - €140,000 DOELocation:
Hybrid - 2 days per week in office
