IT Business Analyst

Job description

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst with experience in agile methodology.

You will work from Lisbon or Porto (hybrid model) collaborating daily with a global team.

  • Collect, analyze and prioritize business requirements, anticipating problems and evaluating impacts
  • Conduct workshops with relevant stakeholders, sponsors and / or teams to define the solution.
  • Analyze business requirements with a critical mindset and challenge them when needed.
  • Identify and specify the solution with squad and tribe architects.
  • Effectively breakdown business needs into requirements contained within a product backlog which can then be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.
  • Clearly communicate those business needs to the development team by writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Test user stories during development phase and contribute to increase test automation coverage.
  • Participate in the organization of user acceptance tests with the end users.
  • Write and update documentation with content adapted to target audience (Development, Product and Support teams) and deliver training sessions

    Work environment :

    At the client's premises

    Remote work : 3 times a week at the client's premises

    Technical environment :

    Agile Scrum methodologies

    Required profile

    You have 3 years of proven experience in the IT BUSINESS ANALYST field.

    You are passionate about ANALYSIS and have initial experience in the IT BA profession in the BANKING industry.

    In order to carry out this assignment successfully, you must be proficient in :

    Methodologies : Agile Scrum

    Technical knowledge : Software development life cycle - planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management. Estimating techniques, analyzing data and data relationships across an organization's business areas.
