Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, present in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Porto and are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development, and Maintenance of Information Systems. We operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy, and transports, with more than 150 active partners.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a team between Porto and Paris, working with Spark / Scala and on-premises infrastructure.

What we are looking for?

• Proven experience with Spark / Scala for data processing and transformation
• Strong skills in SQL for big data environments
• Knowledge of Shell scripting for automation and system tasks
• Experience working with Unix / Linux environments
• Ability to optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Familiarity with distributed systems and on-premises infrastructures
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, working across multicultural teams
• English at a minimum B2 level (mandatory), French is a plus
