BI / Data Senior Tester

Descrição do cargoDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans for data products Identify and document defects, and work with developers and analysts to ensure timely resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across the organization Create and maintain test data and test cases Monitor and report on test results, including defect tracking and resolution status Conduct root cause analysis on defects and provide recommendations for improvement Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for testing, data governance, and data management Provide input into the design and development of data warehouse and BI solutions, with a focus on testing and quality assurance Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to testing and data analytics Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated data testing scripts and frameworks where applicable
We are looking for a
BI / Data Tester
who will ensure the quality of our client's digital experiences - from a BI / Data Perspective.
In this role, you will be at the center of our client's growth as a business, enabling other teams to go to the market and serve (internal and external) customers with excellence.
You'll be a good fit if you have these skills and traits :
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts and technologies (minimum of 3 years of experience in BI / data testing or related field)
- Experience with SQL and data validation
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in data migration projects is a plus
- Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory
