We are currently seeking a new team member for the Investment Management team in the role of Senior Associate Portfolio Management .
Location : Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Lisbon
As a Senior Associate in the Portfolio Management Team, you will lead the strategic management of a diverse real estate portfolio, optimize asset performance, and drive value creation. This role requires strong financial skills, strategic insight, and stakeholder engagement abilities, both internally and externally. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to enhancing portfolio management practices.
Requirements :
7+ years of professional experience in Real Estate Investment, Portfolio, or Asset Management.
Strong academic background, preferably in Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields (Engineering with relevant management experience also considered).
Advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and valuations.
Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
Proven track record in managing complex asset portfolios, implementing value creation initiatives, and delivering measurable results.
Data-driven and rigorous decision-making approach.
Strong leadership skills with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. A team player committed to collective success.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Comfortable working in an international, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities :
Develop and execute asset strategies to maximize value, improve returns, and align with corporate objectives.
Monitor asset performance by analyzing KPIs and market trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
Lead financial analyses, including advanced modeling and scenario planning, to support investment and financing decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Property Management, Leasing, Development, Finance) to drive operational excellence.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as partners, investors, service providers, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and present reports and recommendations to investors.
Mentor and support junior asset managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
