Job Description

Job Title : Power BI Architect

Location : Oeiras, Lisbon, Portugal

Work Regime : Full-time & Hybrid (3x office per week)

Overview / Summary :

We are looking for a Power BI Architect to join our team!

Responsibilities and Tasks :

  • Define and implement Power BI architecture aligned with enterprise data strategy;
  • Design and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and reporting layers to ensure high performance and scalability;
  • Establish governance, security, and deployment best practices for Power BI across the organization;
  • Lead the development of advanced dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, architects, business stakeholders) to design end-to-end BI solutions;
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to BI teams;
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to drive innovation.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements :

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, with a strong focus on Power BI;
  • Proven expertise in Power BI architecture, data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization;
  • Strong understanding of BI governance, security models, and deployment strategies;
  • Experience collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders;
  • Fluent in English (mandatory);
  • French is considered a plus.
