We are currently looking for a SAP Basis Consultant for a global client of ours.

Role : SAP Basis Consultant

Start : ASAP

Duration : 6-12 months + extensions

Location : Remote from Portugal

Scope :

The SAP basis team contractor would be responsible to maintain and support the basis operations as well as provide support to ongoing projects for the DISW SAP eco-system. The basis contractor would augment the existing Siemens team to support weekend and on-call support on top of regular US business hours support

Support daily SAP basis operations for production DISW SAP systems.

Be member of the on-call SAP basis rotation.

Provide support for IT / functional SAP activities that include basis tasks or require intermittent SAP basis support.

Participate in small changes, e.g. SAP system refreshes, audit cleanup tasks, integration setup and support.

Skills :

6+ years of hands on experience with SAP Basis (Netwaver and S / 4)

OS (SLES / windows) and HANA database technology

Language : ansible (AAP), unix scripting, terraform (optional)

Capable of interacting with peers in technical partner teams (unix team, network team, middleware support team)

Fluent in English
