We are on a steep growth curve and are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of Habyt during a period of rapid growth. From day one, you’ll take on significant responsibility, supporting financial and business controlling processes across the Habyt Group. Your responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Reporting:

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Oversee financial transactions and provide quality control to maintain integrity in financial reporting.

  • Liaise with external accounting and auditing partners to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Budgeting & Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor monthly financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and preparing insightful reports.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine financial policies, ensuring efficient and scalable processes.

• Financial Management & Strategy:

  • Take ownership of financial and accounting operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures that promote operational excellence.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial controlling or a related field, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment.

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is required; familiarity with Lucanet is a strong advantage.

• Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders, from employees to management as well as external partners.

• Strong ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.

• Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.

• A quick learner with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
