Overview / Summary :

We are looking for a Data Quality Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities and Tasks :

• Design, implement, and manage data quality frameworks to monitor and improve data accuracy, consistency, and completeness;
• Develop and maintain automated data validation scripts and monitoring systems using Python and SQL;
• Create dashboards and reports with tools such as Power BI, Plotly, or similar BI platforms to track data quality KPIs;
• Set up and manage alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues;
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices;
• Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with internal and external data quality requirements.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements : Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Quality, Data Engineering, or a related role. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; Hands-on experience with automation tools and dashboard creation (Power BI, Plotly, or other BI tools); Proven ability to implement and manage data quality monitoring and alerting systems; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Effective communication skills to work with both technical and business teams; Languages : native Portuguese.
