At Squarespace, we empower product teams to solve meaningful customer and business problems. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Acuity Messaging & CRM, the team responsible for the communication tools and infrastructure that help appointment-based businesses stay connected with their clients across the scheduling journey.
For service businesses, strong client relationships drive retention, growth, and operational efficiency. Messages like confirmations, reminders, reschedules, and follow-ups reduce no-shows, set expectations, and reinforce trust. By owning the systems that power these communications at scale, you'll help our customers run more reliable businesses while delivering clear, timely experiences to their clients.
In this role, you'll own Acuity's Messaging & CRM products across email and SMS, including reminders, notifications, and lifecycle messaging. You'll also steward the underlying platform that ensures these messages are delivered reliably, securely, and cost-effectively. This role sits at the intersection of platform ownership and B2B2C product design: building intuitive tools for businesses while ensuring their clients receive communication that strengthens the customer relationship.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week in our Aveiro, Portugal office. You will report to the Senior Group Product Manager on the Acuity Scheduling team.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute a strategic, monetizable roadmap for Acuity's client messaging products across email and SMS
- Partner with engineering to deliver a scalable, compliant, and resilient messaging platform
- Own relationships with external integration partners to restructure and optimize current integrations while evaluating new functionality to expand Acuity's messaging capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-org Squarespace stakeholders to align on a unified CRM strategy while supporting Acuity's specific client and entity needs
- Build intuitive tools that let businesses easily create, customize, and automate communications
- Monitor system health, reliability, abuse risks, and cost efficiency, driving improvements that protect customer trust
- Use data, experimentation, and user research to measure impact and inform prioritization
Who We're Looking For
- 7–8+ years of product management experience, ideally in messaging platforms, communications infrastructure, or lifecycle automation
- Experience working with external providers such as Twilio, SendGrid, or similar communication platforms
- Strong technical fluency, comfortable partnering on API-driven systems and service-oriented architectures
- Proven experience owning partner relationships and driving roadmap alignment, integration improvements, or adoption of new platform capabilities
- Clear communicator who can translate technical complexity into intuitive product experiences
- Customer-obsessed, with a track record of shipping meaningful, high-impact products
Nice to Have
- Previous exposure to scheduling, SaaS, or SMB productivity tools.
