Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our Client’s team under a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain a referential data application supporting electronic equities platforms

Ensure high standards of data quality, performance, and security across the platform

Participate in the full software development lifecycle , including analysis, development, testing, documentation, and code reviews

Collaborate with production support teams for release management and maintenance

Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide L3 support when needed

Contribute to the development of scalable backend systems using Java and Spring frameworks

Support frontend components built with Angular and React (SPAs) when applicable

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in software development

Strong expertise in Java (1.8+) and Spring Framework (Core, IoC, Batch)

Solid experience with RDBMS and SQL

Experience with asynchronous messaging systems

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and Shell scripting

Experience working in Agile environments

Ability to understand complex codebases and contribute to their evolution

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Fluency in English , both spoken and written

Nice to Have :

Experience with frontend or full stack development (Angular and / or React)

Exposure to Corporate Investment Banking , particularly Cash Equities
