TheInternal Audit team at Ferring is an independent, objective assurance and advisory function designed to add value and strengthen the organization’s operations. We support the achievement of businessobjectivesby applying a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness ofrisk management, internal controls, and governance.
As Auditor Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a global audit plan covering commercial, technical operations, and central functions. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, Global Compliance, and senior stakeholders to help the organization navigate change, raise standards, and continuously improve. You willoperateas part of aglobal, agile audit “delta force”,where everyone has a role, leadership rotates, and collaboration is key. There are no regional silos—audits are global, diverse, and dynamic.
The role requires global travel (40-50% of your time) with no fixed regions due to the flexible and global natureof the team.
Your day at Ferring
Execute compliance, financial, and operational audits in line with professional standards across Ferring’s global operations.
Contribute to the annual audit plan (currently ~22 audits per year) coveringcommercial, TechOps, and central functions, delivered across three phases: planning & preparation, fieldwork, and reporting.
Assessfinancial processes, internal control frameworks, and contract compliance, working closely with the Global Compliance organization.
Evaluate thedesign and operating effectiveness of internal controls,identifyingdeviations, root causes (RCA), and improvement opportunities.
Formulatepragmatic, risk-based recommendations, clearly assigning ownership for remediation and ensuring proper documentation.
Act as a trusted advisor to management up toSenior Management levelon corporate governance, compliance, and best practices.
Develop and applyaudit programs, data analytics, and modern audit techniquestailored to each audit mission.
Communicate audit outcomes clearly and effectively—bothverbally and in writing—ensuring messages are factual, balanced, and solution-oriented.
Lead audits and audit teams whenrequired, while also being ready to be led—no ego, shared ownership.
Behind our innovation…There’s you
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISM, ACCA (or equivalent).
5+ years of experience in audit/advisory roles within a Big 4 environment.
3+ years in an audit/advisory role within a regulated industrial sector (pharmaceutical or chemical industry strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of financial processes, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
Working knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle ERP is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and information systems skills.
Excellent communication skills in an international, multicultural environment.
Comfortable traveling up to 50%.
Excellent English proficiency. French, Spanish or any other language is a great add on.
