Senior Data Scientist / Senior Machine Learning Engineer

For our client we're looking for:

Senior Data Scientist (Risk)

Lead ML development for fraud detection, risk prevention, and CRM optimization. Own the full lifecycle: data collection → feature engineering → model deployment → production monitoring.

Required:

• 4+ years in Data Science with production ML deployment experience
• Expert-level ML algorithms knowledge with strong Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Proven track record managing models post-launch (monitoring, optimization)
• Fluent English (written & oral)

Nice-to-Have:

Fraud detection/CRM/sportsbook domain experience | Spark/PySpark | Azure/Databricks

Senior AI/ML Engineer (GenAI Focus)

Build end-to-end GenAI applications: LLM-powered solutions, recommendation systems, intelligent agents. Design scalable MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, Docker, drift monitoring).

Required:

• 4+ years with strong software engineering (OOP, modularity, testability)
• Deep Learning frameworks expertise + MLOps experience (CI/CD, containerization)
• Proven ability to deploy complex AI systems to production
• Fluent English

Nice-to-Have:

Hands-on GenAI/LLM/RAG experience | Real-time data pipelines | Product company background

Senior ML Engineer (Risk or Platform)

Risk: Deploy and optimize models for fraud detection and risk assessment.

Platform: Build scalable MLOps infrastructure supporting the entire AI team.

Required:

• 4+ years in ML Engineering with focus on production systems
• MLOps expertise: CI/CD, Docker, monitoring, infrastructure management
• Advanced Python + software engineering best practices
• Fluent English

Nice-to-Have:

• Real-time/streaming data experience | Azure/Databricks | High-volume fintech/betting environments

These roles offer the flexibility of being fully remote for candidates outside of Lisbon, provided you are currently based in Portugal with full legal authorization to work here (valid work permit or EU citizenship).
