By including everyone and ensuring equal opportunities we unleash our full potential. *Job Description* *Your contribution to something big : * * Develop and implement advanced automation solutions for assembly processes, contributing to highly efficient and future-ready production systems; * Automate manual operations using collaborative robots (cobots), ensuring safe and ergonomic workflows; * Design and develop software for new machines and production lines, enabling seamless integration and high performance; * Coordinate and follow up with suppliers during machine development and construction, ensuring technical alignment and quality; * Ensure project milestones are achieved, guaranteeing equipment availability and readiness for production; * Participate in the setup, commissioning, and ramp-up of new production lines, both locally and internationally; * Introduce new automation technologies and support their industrialization within the plant; * Conduct test activities according to defined plans and ensure robust validation of automation solutions; * Identify technological advancements that can improve cost, performance, and efficiency of automated systems; * Create and maintain technical documentation for automation equipment and processes; * Install new equipment, develop and commission automation programs, and perform capability analyses; * Support production teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. *Qualifications* *What distinguishes you : * *Education* * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field. *Experience & Know-how* * Experience in programming and commissioning industrial machines; * Knowledge of robotics integration and MES connectivity; * Hands-on experience in quality assurance, including machine vision development and programming; * Strong background in machine hardware architecture and experience with EPLAN design; * Familiarity with technologies such as Beckhoff PLC, TwinCAT 3, Universal Robots, and Stäubli Robotics. *Languages* * Good written and spoken English. *Working Style & Methods* * Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills; * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams; * Passion for new technologies and innovative automation solutions. *Personality* * Proactive, curious, and eager to drive automation excellence; * Responsible, autonomous, and committed to continuous improvement. *Additional Information* *Work #LikeABosch includes : * ⚖ Flexible work conditions Hybrid work system Exchange with colleagues around the world Health insurance ⚕Medical office (psychology and general clinic) &Social Services Officeon site Training opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products Sports and health related activities Great access to public transports Free transport from Porto Flexible benefits platform Free parking lot Canteen *Success stories don´t just happen.
