By including everyone and ensuring equal opportunities we unleash our full potential. *Job Description* We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines that ensure high data availability, quality, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Governance and Analytics, contributing to robust data engineering standards and continuous process improvement. *Key Responsibilities* * Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines in a cloud environment * Perform peer code reviews and participate in data pipeline validation and verification activities * Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering standards, processes, and best practices * Support internal customers by ensuring data availability, data quality, and optimal pipeline and dashboard performance * Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, concepts, and tooling * Collaborate with the Data Governance team to support the rollout and adoption of data quality concepts and tools *Qualifications* *Education* * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field *Experience* * Proven experience working on data engineering projects in a professional environment * Hands-on experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in the cloud * Experience working with large datasets and distributed data processing *Technical Skills* * High proficiency in Python and SQL * Strong hands-on experience with PySpark * Experience with Azure Databricks is a strong plus * Solid understanding of software development principles (e.g., SOLID, clean code, version control) *Soft Skills & Attributes* * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams * Attention to detail, especially regarding data quality and reliability * Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement *Languages* * *English : * Fluent (spoken and written) * *Portuguese : * Fluent (spoken and written) *Additional Information* *Work #LikeABosch includes : * ⚖ Flexible work conditions Hybrid work system Exchange with colleagues around the world ⚕ Health insurance and medical office on site (general clinic) Training opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch Sports and health related activities (gym) Great access to public transports Free parking lot Canteen *Success stories don´t just happen.
