Senior Civil Engineer – Industrial Structures

Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Industry Business Unit by recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer for the Industrial Structures division, based at our Alfragide office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design concrete and steel structures for industrial projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards
• Perform advanced structural calculations, including static, dynamic, and seismic analyses, using specialized software (SAP2000, Robot)
• Define solutions for foundations and support structures, including geotechnical analyses and soil-structure interaction
• Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as industry-specific requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design optimized structural solutions for industrial facilities, energy, mining, and utilities
• Prepare technical reports, design briefs, and project specifications
• Stay up to date with technological advancements and implement improvements in structural design methodologies and project development processes

Profile:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of professional experience in the development of structural design projects
• Professional experience with SAP2000/Robot, AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla (valued)
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Focus on technical excellence, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
