By including everyone and ensuring equal opportunities we unleash our full potential. *Job Description* *Your contribution to something big : * • Lead the Charge : Spearhead mechanical design activities for groundbreaking ADAS sensors, guiding projects from initial quotation through to Start of Production (SOP), ongoing series support, and continuous improvement initiatives (change packages, RPP). • Be the Expert : Serve as the primary technical contact for all mechanical design aspects, fostering strong relationships with both our valued customers and strategic suppliers. • Drive Excellence : Prepare and meticulously maintain project documentation, adhering to our robust ME best practices. • Master the Metrics : Plan, track, and control engineering costs, ensuring projects meet ambitious quality, budget, and time targets. • Communicate with Impact : Prepare and deliver compelling project status updates and essential management reports, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged. • Foster Collaboration : Champion synergies and efficiency across diverse engineering domains, including mechanical design, reliability engineering, and simulation. You'll work closely with our global partners (ME-SN IDN and IPN) to achieve collective success. *Qualifications* *What distinguishes you : * • Educational Foundation : An MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a comparable technical field. • Proven Experience : At least 2 years of project management experience within the automotive industry, specifically with a focus on mechanical design. • Communication Powerhouse : Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical information clearly and persuasively. • Self-Starter & Owner : You're self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take full ownership of your tasks and projects, driving them to successful completion. • Adaptable & Curious : You adapt easily to new development environments and possess a genuine interest in automotive technologies and a wide range of technical fields (e.g., electronics, failure analysis methods, material sciences). • Global Collaborator : Proficient in English, both written and oral. (Knowledge of German is a definite plus!)
