We are searching for a Java Software Developer !

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, support and enhance back-end systems supporting financial operations.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot .
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanisms and data sources.
• Contribute to the technical design phase and document solutions using UML diagrams and models .
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate business requirements and technical solutions.
• Prepare and execute Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance and Functional Testing using automated testing frameworks.
• Deploy application components, shell scripts and databases across relevant environments.
• Participate in application support, troubleshooting and bug fixing activities.
• Work with teams to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure application quality and prioritise the resolution of critical issues.
• Conduct code reviews and promote software development best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical and release documentation.
• Estimate development efforts and schedules and ensure delivery within agreed deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with software development lifecycle standards and organisational guidelines.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving development processes and delivery efficiency .
• Identify opportunities for innovation and suggest new technical practices and improvements.
• Participate in out-of-hours or daytime support activities when required.
• Continuously develop technical skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Java development and object-oriented programming.
• Good knowledge of the Java ecosystem.
• Professional experience with Spring Boot applications.
• Good knowledge of the Java Collections API .
• Strong understanding of control structures, access modifiers and exception handling.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL .
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems , including scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools .
• Thorough understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) .
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when working under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexible and adaptable when dealing with technical challenges.
• Passion for technology and willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies and frameworks.
• Strong interest in financial markets and Finance-related topics .
• High level of integrity, discipline, transparency and accountability.
• Ability to contribute positively to a culture of good conduct and responsible risk management.
• English: Fluent .
