What do you need to be a Senior Test Engineer?
- 5+ years of experience in testing roles
- Strong experience in manual testing and test scenario design
- Solid knowledge of test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, risk-based testing)
- Experience testing complex, data-heavy systems
- Hands-on experience with API testing
- Good knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) in testing activities
- Strong critical thinking and ability to challenge requirements and acceptance criteria
- Good level of English
What will you do at SMART?
- Own end-to-end testing activities for assigned features
- Define test scope using a risk-based approach and ensure quality before sign-off
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and improve acceptance criteria
- Work closely with development teams to analyze and resolve defects
- Design efficient tests that cover complex business rules without unnecessary overhead
- Produce clear, structured, and concise test documentation
- Contribute to reducing manual effort through selective automation
- Leverage AI tools to optimize testing processes (test generation, failure analysis, test data, etc.)
