Quality Assurance Engineer

QA Engineer - Contract

An exciting contract role for an experienced QA Engineer to join an established and global testing team.

I am looking for skills and previous experience in the following :

• Getting hands-on with both the technical and functional sides of applications.
• Helping shape what “done” looks like by challenging and improving acceptance criteria.
• Working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and contributing to a DevOps culture.
• Automating tests using languages like Java or C#.
• Testing APIs (REST) and messaging systems (like queues).
• Using tools like Selenium or Webdriver.io for UI automation.
• Debugging and digging into issues across the tech stack to find the root cause.
• Collaborating with teammates across different countries.
• Balancing automation with smart, exploratory manual testing.

These roles are based in Lisbon and you will need to be on-site two days a week.

Applicants therefore must be based within commutable distance of Lisbon and fully authorised to work in Portugal.
