Product Introduction Team Lead: Npi & Ramp-Up

Join our Blades Technology department as the Team Leader of the Product Introduction team. Lead a skilled group of engineers in transitioning innovative blade designs to full-scale production. Drive optimization of production ramp-up processes while meeting quality, cost, and output targets. Support the technical team and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and certification of new blade technologies.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead and supervise a team of professional engineers, setting operational goals to enhance performance and drive competence development for future technological challenges, ensuring the team is equipped to tackle upcoming innovations.
• Manage the team’s support for the B115 Aeolon BtP blade project, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with production sites, which is critical for maintaining project schedules and meeting market demands.
• Oversee the certification processes for blade design and manufacturing, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and enhancing product reliability.
• Champion production ramp-up initiatives for the SG170V1B blade, monitoring key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and effectively.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Significant professional experience in the wind energy industry, particularly in wind blade design and manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience in guiding technical teams, with a strong background in project management and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Expertise in wind blade technology, manufacturing processes, and quality management practices.
• You have advanced English proficiency for effective communication.
