Brief Call : Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews

(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study : Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Senior Business Analyst

Information Systems & Digital (IS&D)

industry in

Portugal ?

Gather, analyse and document

business and functional requirements

from multiple stakeholders.

Translate business needs into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria ready for development.

Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritisation and requirements clarification.

Collaborate with UX Designers, Solution Architects and Engineering teams to ensure solution alignment.

Analyse system integrations, backend services and API-based solutions to support digital platforms.

Identify dependencies, risks and technical constraints across multiple teams.

Maintain clear and traceable project documentation, including functional and technical decisions.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, workshops and vendor evaluation activities when required.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.

At least

7 years

of experience as a

Business Analyst

or Functional Analyst in complex digital environments.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, business analysis, functional analysis, APIs and system integrations.

Fluent English (C1 level); Italian is considered a plus depending on the project.

Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

Experience with

IoT, connectivity

or connected devices.

Knowledge of mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend ecosystems.

Experience in digital transformation, system migration or legacy modernisation programmes.

Exposure to documenting solution or architecture decisions in large-scale programmes.
