Key Responsibilities
Storage Administration Assist in the monitoring and management of NAS and SMB storage systems. Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of storage environments. Perform storage provisioning and capacity management activities. Troubleshoot storage-related incidents and implement corrective actions. Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and storage optimization initiatives. Storage Technologies Administer and support NFS storage systems. Manage and maintain SMB storage environments. Support and optimize enterprise storage platforms, including: NetApp Dell PowerScale Hitachi VSP Perform SAN disk provisioning activities. Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency. Support infrastructure automation initiatives using: Bash KSH Python Perl Ansible Collaboration & Support Work closely with Infrastructure teams, including: Backup Network Wintel Security Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement projects. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong expertise in: NFS storage systems SMB storage systems Windows Active Directory Advanced knowledge of: NetApp Dell PowerScale Hitachi VSP Knowledge of SAN disk provisioning. Experience with scripting and automation tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Technical Skills Mandatory NAS Administration NFS Storage Systems SMB Storage Systems Windows Active Directory NetApp Dell PowerScale Hitachi VSP SAN Provisioning Bash KSH Python Perl Ansible Nice to Have Experience in large enterprise infrastructure environments. Knowledge of backup and storage integration solutions. Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
