We are currently looking for an ASM to join in our team in Algarve; located at Av Algarve 8136 - 182 Almancil; contributing to the growth of the business and delivering an exceptional experience to our customers.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the supervision and management of all store areas, as well as leading the team to drive commercial performance and ensure the effective execution of daily operations. You will also assume full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring the high standards of service, operations, and brand image expected at HUGO BOSS.

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

• Solid experience as an Assistant Store Manager within premium/luxury fashion or retail brands will be considered a strong asset.

What you can expect:

People:

• Support the Store Manager in recruitment and selection processes, contributing to the identification and attraction of top talent.

• Prepare and conduct sales performance evaluations, ensuring continuous follow-up and providing support to teams to enhance their development and performance.

• Plan and organize workforce resources according to seasonality, productivity, payroll budget, and hour management, ensuring appropriate store coverage at all times.

• Coordinate and deliver training on a variety of operational procedures, including loss prevention, complaint management, and other internal company processes.

• Monitor and evaluate store employees’ performance through different indicators, such as online training, classroom training, and performance reviews, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.

Product:

• Oversee and ensure strict compliance with all product management procedures, guaranteeing their correct implementation and alignment with brand standards at the point of sale.

• Collect, analyse, and proactively communicate product feedback, identifying trends and improvement opportunities that help meet customer and market needs.

• Take responsibility for stock control and management, ensuring adequate product availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance with the company’s internal procedures.

• Implement and monitor loss prevention measures, continuously tracking inventory discrepancies and promoting corrective actions whenever necessary.

• Ensure impeccable product presentation, guaranteeing that displays, replenishment, and visual merchandising standards comply with HUGO BOSS guidelines.

• Work closely with the Store Manager and store team to optimise product rotation and maximise sales opportunities, contributing to the sustainable growth of the business.

Performance:

• Lead and support the team with the objective of driving commercial performance and ensuring the effective execution of daily operations, assuming full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Customer Service & CRM:

• Identify, develop, and actively drive the Clienteling strategy, with the objective of building and retaining a strong customer base aligned with the brand’s standards.

• Manage and oversee CRM information, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and proper usage in compliance with internal procedures and policies.

• Support the Store Manager, Area Manager, or person in charge of the store in handling transactions, complaints, and returns, ensuring an efficient, professional, and customer-focused experience.

Procedures & Systems:

• Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, rules, and internal procedures, including health and safety regulations, operations manuals, brand image, and uniform standards, guaranteeing their correct implementation at the point of sale.

• Promote and ensure the efficient and effective use of available systems, equipment, and technologies, contributing to increased productivity and the successful execution of daily operations.
