Content Moderator – German Speaker | E-commerce Platform

CloserHire is partnering with a global customer experience leader to recruit a German-speaking Content Moderator for an exciting e-commerce project based in Lisbon. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and multicultural team, working in a fast-paced environment that values high standards of quality and compliance. As a Content Moderator, you will ensure that products and services meet quality and legal standards across a popular e-commerce platform. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing content, maintaining compliance with platform policies, and making informed moderation decisions based on local market knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Review user-generated content and ensure it complies with platform policies and legal standards
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while working within agreed latency and quality metrics
• Escalate content or issues in accordance with internal procedures
• Remain up to date on content moderation guidelines and policy changes
• Support content safety across a variety of media types while adapting to promotional season peaks
• Full-time position with rotative shifts (24/7) and two rotative days off per week

Qualifications:

• Native-level fluency in German and good command of English (B2 level minimum)
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Background or strong understanding of e-commerce platforms
• Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or a similar area is an asset
• Ability to handle sensitive content and work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
