Position: Music & Lyrics Expert - Portuguese
Type: Contract
Compensation: $18–$42/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Up to 6 months
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across diverse genres. Rate against detailed quality standards.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs. Identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Evaluate naturalness of lyrics, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously. Maintain flexible hours.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist.
• Knowledge of the Portuguese music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Preferred

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or published songwriting work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Portuguese genres, sub-genres, and artists.
