About the role

CloserHire is partnering with a leading global customer experience provider to recruit French-speaking Customer Support Specialists for an exciting Car Rental Services project in Porto. In this role, you will support customers for one of Europe’s leading car rental brands, assisting them throughout their rental journey — before, during, and after rental. You will help customers with reservations, inquiries, and post-rental concerns while ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time on-site position in Porto, offering the opportunity to work in an international and dynamic environment while building your customer service and sales skills.

What you will do

• Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and messaging channels
• Assist customers with car rental reservations, products, and related services
• Support customers before rental, during rental, and after rental, including inquiries related to invoices, damages, and rental agreements
• Identify customer needs and recommend additional services when relevant
• Deliver personalized and solution-oriented customer service while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Handle support in both French and English, depending on customer needs
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams to ensure an excellent customer journey

What we are looking for

• Native or fluent French (C1-C2 level) with good English skills 1+ year of previous Contact Centre or Customer
• Service experience is preferred
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Good digital and technical skills
• Ability to identify business opportunities and suggest additional services to customers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude

Salary

1000€ x14 (gross) · M.A 7.63€ per working day

Relocation support

Relocation from outside of Portugal: Room in a shared apartment for a maximum period of 12 months, with rent of 280€ with all utilities bills included (discounted directly from the payslip). Relocation from inside of Portugal: we don't provide unless the candidates are currently in the accomodation of competitors
