Forvia Interiors is looking for a Central Internal Auditor to be based in Santa Maria da Feira. ROLE PURPOSE

The Internal Audit Generalist performs risk-based audit assignments across the company, providing independent assurance over governance, risk management and internal controls. KEY MISSIONS

Contribute to the annual internal audit plan. Perform financial, operational, compliance and process audits across entities and regions. Document processes, risks and controls, and test design and operating effectiveness. Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, testing and data analysis. Identify root causes, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities. Draft audit findings, recommendations and management action plans. Monitor remediation progress and follow up on action plans. Support internal control reviews and ICFR / SOX-type testing where applicable. Participate in investigations or special reviews when requested. Use audit tools and data analytics to improve audit quality and efficiency. EXPERIENCE

5+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, internal control, risk management or finance in an international environment. EDUCATION

Master’s degree or equivalent level in Accounting, Finance, Business, Audit or a related field. KEY COMPETENCIES

Good knowledge of internal-audit methodology, risk and internal controls. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Independence, objectivity and integrity. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to work in multicultural environments. Fluency in English.
